Here’s something fun I’d never heard of–poetic bookmarking.
The idea is, you take a library book or one of your own, and you leave some item in it that speaks to the content of the book, and then you return it to the library or leave it out somewhere a la Bookcrossing.
The project is tracked at NamelessleTTer. There you can see the items that have been left so far. (So far this one is my favorite.) Looks like fun–I’ve already come up with some….for example, maybe I’ll check Stephen King’s IT out from one of the local libraries and leave a punctured balloon in it…scare the pants off some kid.
